Hi Fifth Graders,
I realize the page looks much as it did last week. Your teachers have asked me to leave these activities up for awhile longer as you create your Rube Goldberg devices.
Once you've done all of the activities, feel free to roam around the website. This week there's a BONUS LESSON (CLICK HERE) that involves playing games with the color wheel. (You can even play with friends who live in another home!!)
Have fun!
Love,
Mrs. VE
1. Check out some of Rube Goldberg's Art!
Can you guess what these Rube Goldberg Machines are meant to do?
2. IMAGINATION Rube Goldberg Machines
Imagine you can use ANY MATERIALS that exist to make a contraption to accomplish a simple task.
3. Feeling Sketchy? Let's play with perspective in a quick sketch!
4. Play Dominoes!
I was a grownup when I learned that Dominoes is a real game...and not just fun tiles to stand up and knock down! Don't have a set? No worries: You can make a set out of paper!
5. Play Dominoes 2: Set 'em up and knock 'em down!
I won't be able to add videos to the Art Gallery, but I'd love to see them! If you take a picture of your dominoes or of your Rube Goldberg machine, please consider sending them my way.
